Since 2005 Alisei NGO is actively engaged in supporting the Pakistani population affected by the dramatic consequences of natural disasters, extreme poverty and very weak or inexistent health, sanitation and education infrastructures which seriously impact on their living conditions.

After the terrible earthquake that struck the country on October 2005, Alisei established a local operational office and implemented several emergency aid interventions in partnership with local community and international organisations.

In response of the recent floods – which further worsened local living conditions – Alisei NGO conducted needs assessments in the mostly affected areas and is currently working in the fields of reconstruction-rehabilitation, water and sanitation (WASH), health and education infrastructures, agriculture and food security.
