São Tomé and Príncipe is the biggest microstate in the world, two islands of barely 1000 km2. . It is located in Guinea Gulf, Africa, 0° over the Equator and 6° east of the Prime Meridian, litteraly at the heart of the world.

São Tomé and Príncipe is proud to have one of the widest natural biodiversity in the world: a virgin and unknown nature that beckons biologists and scientist from all over the world. Its rich soil produces plenty of crop of the best quality and it's seas host numerous species of fishes, whales, turtles and other creatures of the underworld.
